As a person totally new and just beginning my exploration of this world, I was reassured that my impressions were correct re bondage. It is NOT about forcing will upon another, or inflicting punishment. Mutual consent the golden rule. . It is about heightening of senses, learning what another’s sensibilities and sensitivities can be, play that increases true intimacy – play that involves some thought, caring , creativity and I would assume a deepening of possibilities in a relationship. Perhaps I am being too idealistic – but there ain’t no slam bam thank you ma’am’s going on, punitive , humiliating behaviors need to find another venue… it seems to be an opportunity for one to safely set boundaries ( that’s growth) , safely explore many facets of being ‘human’ and expand conceptions without judgments, developing confidence in expression, and honesty between partners. Empowering while not abusing power . All this delivered in a light hearted way involving FUN , don’t forget the fun. Perhaps I am reading way to much into a class and am FOS (certainly hope not) but that was my takeaway. Thank you.

I just went through the prerecorded class. I got so much information out of taking the class. This is my second online class. (My first one was live) I look forward to taking the 12 month long 101 class.

I took the ‘How to Enter the World of Rope Bondage Successfully! – LIVE Online Class’. Instructor SirKnottyDan was very professional and gave an engaging, structured introduction to rope bondage. Having previously ventured into a rope event totally clueless and awkward (I had the good sense not to take photos), this course effectively gave me the basic knowledge I need to attend some live events down the road.
