Dan & Renee provide this educational basics workshop to help people enter the rope/kink/bdsm community safely. More of a clinical setting than a sexclub/dungeon. There is no sex or nudity during the class! I encourage anyone who wants to learn more and is ready to dip their toe into the kink-pool.

I learned about All Tied Up San Diego through friends, a few years ago. I’ve been curious ever since, but couldn’t quite work up the nerve to go since I’ve never been involved in the kink community. Boy, am I glad I finally attended the getting started class last night! Dan and Renee instantly put me at easy with their delightful and welcoming personalities. The class was very informative, and Dan and Renee both made it really easy and comfortable to ask questions as they covered the subject matter thoroughly. I believe I’ve found a new passion. I can’t wait to attend the next event! I just turned 60. In my opinion, it’s never a bad idea to try something new regardless of your age. You might learn something surprisingly delightful about yourself. If you’re on the fence, just do it! What have you got to lose?

People really got into the theme. The food was really good. I honestly had an amazing time and met more people.

My partner and I attended ATU’s Dark Circus event, and it was amazing! The buffet offered a wide assortment of food throughout the entire event, including themed snacks, charcuterie boards, and vegan alternatives. I’d recommend arriving early, as the main floor quickly filled with suspension scenes. There were also a couple of St. Andrew’s crosses and dedicated rooms available for aftercare.

I was shocked at how much I wasn’t aware of. I went in with the intention that I would learn a thing or two, but I quickly realized how much I didn’t know before coming to the class. I am certain I will avoid mistakes going forward simply because I attended. I highly recommend going.
