The Getting Started class was very valuable. Even after being part of the community for a couple of years, I found it to be a great refresher with plenty of useful information. Through witty humor and insightful anecdotes, Dan and Renee present the material in a way that’s friendly for newcomers while still engaging for more experienced members. Overall, it was a great class. Thank you, Dan and Renee!

It was a great first experience and would recommend attending such a crucial class first class regardless of you’ve been in the lifestyle for a long while but most especially if you’re just brand spanking new. Very good course and am excited to continue learning from Dan and Renée.

Covered a lot of etiquette and safety things that give me full confidence and comfort in being in all-tied-up spaces and events.

I have just moved back to San Diego, and this intro course was a good refresher on rope basics and a good way to get introduced to the space and the All Tied Up community. Lots of great info on negotiation and all the helpful pre-tying things to be aware of!

Attending the getting started class was a great experience. Hearing from seasoned professionals who care about safety and protecting the quality of the community was great. They provide great insight into how to enjoy the kink community as well as just enough hands on to get you wanting more. Run, don’t walk, to sign up and enjoy the official welcome into the kinkdom.

As a seasoned pro I was impressed with the quality and engagement of the introductory session. I’ve sat through boring sessions and this was not one of them.

This is exactly what the community needs. Responsible guidelines and resources for maintaining safety and security in one of the most intimate spaces imaginable.

Taking care of yourself and your partner is priority. Empowering people to lead with respect, first and foremost for themselves.

Dan and Renee were so friendly and welcoming. They instantly made me feel like I was in a safe place. They were both so knowledgeable and willing to share important information on consent, etiquette and safety. I learned so much as a rope bottom! I highly recommend taking their beginners course. Especially, the lab afterwards where you get hands-on practice. They were both skilled and patient with beginning learners.

I think the class I took, getting started 101, is absolutely worth more than the fee you pay to take the course. It is not only an in person session but once you sign up you have access to a ton of online instruction and informational videos ranging from consent to anatomy to actual rope play. Your safety is paramount, and you are invited into a community where honesty and communication are the backbones and your reputation is key. It’s just a wonderful way to get started.
