This was my second Dark Circus event. They are very nice play parties with a mix of partnerships creating interesting and beautiful scenes with of course a heavy focus on Shibari, but not limited to rope alone.

The people and environment are very inviting and approachable, with a no pressure and consent-focused community.

The food/treats were great, good atmosphere and not chaotic or loud to the point where a quiet conversation with a new friend was easy to have.

I definitely came out with the confidence to learn more ties, now to find practice partners! 🙂

This class teaches effective communication, which can help build trust in a relationship. Rope is apparently a good tool for that.

All the information you could ever need with regards to rope and the lifestyle in general. Lots of great information. I especially appreciated the discussion about negotiating everything prior to starting any activity. I would have never thought about this before. All the things that could possibly happen in a situation and planning for them. Smart!
