It was really thorough and informative. I liked that it was general as well as specific. We had the opportunity to ask questions beforehand as well as during and after. Dan is a really good presenter. I’m looking forward to other topics!
Great class! It was very helpful, especially for some one who’s new to the word of kink. I would definitely recommend this class to others, whether their new to kink, new to rope, or just want a good refresher.
Thanks for the vetting class! We wanted to make sure everyone gets insight… Great info and solid awareness while keeping it simple and specific. Answering real life scenario questions make it easier to apply to oneself and thatβs truly helpful from our perspective. The message of always being aware (in ways we may not in other aspects of our lives), taking personal ownership while also practicing self reflectIon is great! Really appreciated you doing the class and giving everyone something to use and grow. Thanks again for helping the Kinkdom!!! ππ»π―ππ»
Great Information
Topic: How To Start Doing Rope Bondage While Everyone is Staying Home!
We thought this course was very well organized and informative. We especially liked the depth that was explained on consent. We will be on the lookout for another web-based training similar to this one.
This was a great event. It was inexpensive and contained a lot of great content ANYONE should know.
I feel more time to practice the 3 knots would have been helpful.
This class was super informative and helpful. Glad to be joining the community!
I attended the intoductory Safety class. It was my first time being courageous enough to go to a seemingly obscure location to meet up with others who express interest in bondage. I didn’t know how the quality would be, but somehow I trusted All Tied Up SD to get it right. I was greeted by a lot of very friendly, cheerful and colorful people who mostly seemed to know each other. Who was new was quickly introduced to everyone else and the room was full with a good 25 people. Dan, who introduced the class did the magic of remembering everyone’s name, and Renee then gave a great Safety class. The practice part was fun too, with 3 different small ties and knots being taught. I felt completely safe, and welcomed at this event, and will look forward to build more community the next time around. Thank you for offering this and for providing a safe space in ehio trust and openness seem to be the foremost features.
Let me start by saying that I’ve been in the lifestyle for 20+ years. I’ve seen a lot of intense and intimidating classes, and some very mediocre gatherings trying to pass themselves off as classes. Happily, this was neither! When my wife suggested that we take a shibari/rope class, I honestly wasn’t sure who or what to expect. I had the mental image of some ancient sensei cracking a bamboo crop, or the leather guy from The Village People. And I was positive we were going to be the only couple our age, let alone so vanilla in appearance.
What we found upon arriving is an amazing group of people who openly talk about an artistic subject that has so many facets. The owners are fantastically informative, creative, humorous, and knowledgeable. Every step of the class, we were nodding along or grinning from ear to ear. The other beginners and staff were everyday people who all share a passion for rope. Couples and singles alike; absolute newbies (we’re talking just discovered rope and the community within recent weeks) to those that have been doing this and have been a part of the kink community for years; all gathered and sharing a great learning experience. I honestly felt more at ease and safer in this class than I have in many other social occasions. We had so much fun with the Safety&Intro Class that we’ve already signed up for the 101 classes!
So much respect to Dan & Renee for developing this open and enjoyable way to get into shibari in a safe and inviting setting! I honestly cannot say enough how great this experience has been so far! I am looking forward to where this all leads!
There was so much great information in this class! I especially enjoyed the information provided on the culture including etiquette how communication is really essential in so many ways to having a positive experience. The rope instruction was great and I’m looking forward to learning and experiencing more!
