I took the ‘How to Enter the World of Rope Bondage Successfully! – LIVE Online Class’. Instructor SirKnottyDan was very professional and gave an engaging, structured introduction to rope bondage. Having previously ventured into a rope event totally clueless and awkward (I had the good sense not to take photos), this course effectively gave me the basic knowledge I need to attend some live events down the road. I have been tying as a top for roughly 5 years now. While I thought this was going to be more of an upper level class, I was not disappointed when I realized this was a beginners course. The class had so many great fundamentals and great detail even for someone in an intermediate position like me. The negotiation steps, and the stages of the tie were great in assisting with crystallizing amorphous concepts and giving structured, yet adaptable steps for the flow of a scene from first contact to final farewell. I will be recommending this course Highly to my community and friends, and cannot wait to see what comes out next.

Good, informative class that was forced online due to Covid-19. The presentation was thorough and engaging, but I would have preferred the in-person version (but pandemic) and I think some of the kinks were still being worked out.

This is a good class . The information can be transitioned beyond just ropes and I found it is a good basis for other parts of the BDSM world.

The class had a lot of good practical information. The PowerPoint presentation lay things out very well and was easy to follow. I very much enjoyed being asked questions before the class and having my questions being answered at the end of the presentation.

Very enlightening! SirKnottyDan gave a very good presentation for establishing a scene with a partner. The emphasis on safety for all parties was well discussed. I also learned of other things to be discussed with a potential play partner which I had never considered.New participants in BDSM should definitely take this course. Old pros could also take it for a good review.

Extremely informative. The format was easy to understand and follow, when further explanation was needed for items such as terminology, it was provided. Instructor is personable and knowledgeable in subject matter discussed. I would definitely recommend his class to anyone, especially the novice, such as myself. I would be interested in attending more classes taught by this instructor as well.

Very helpful for someone new. I definitely feel more comfortable looking for a partner, better informed how to find the right one and some expectations. Q&A was very helpful, host was very likable and reasonable.

The negotiations class was very helpful in depicting what a well rounded negotiation should look like.

Although it was taught from a top-centric point of view, the instructor did fairly well in depicting the bottom’s side of negotiation by including how they can help make negotiations as effective as possible.

The only thing I would say could improve was the pacing of the class. I felt the instructor went through the material too quickly for my taste, but it was understandable considering how much content was involved and another class scheduled to happen soon after. Despite the fast pace, I still took a lot out of the class and learned things I haven’t even considered before.

Being new to the rope community, this class offered me an inside look to the history, styles, etiquette, what to bring to an event, and the stages of a tie. Definitely a prerequisite before moving forward to the other classes offered. I’m looking forward to learning basic rope bondage, participating in floor play and meeting like-minded kinksters all while being safe, sane and consensual. Thank you SirKnottyDan for a great class!
