Was great to hear the measures taken to begin and perform shibari!

This is a really great intro course to soft skills for being involved in a BDSM community, which are so important! As well as some general basics of rope. It’s kinda like BDSM 101 specifically within the context of rope. We went over negotiation, communication, vetting, post-scene dynamics, and so much more! And we got to touch different kinds of rope too! Came with a handy flyer and online courses! Dan really wants to make sure you learn knowledge and the wisdom he learned from him and his wife’s mistakes, and the mistakes from others. I feel like I’m in good hands teacher-wise and am supported in my journey with rope!

The classes are both informative and easy going. Dan is great at relaying serious information but doesn’t create a stressful environment while doing so. Excited to attend more classes!

I’ve been a bottom in the kink world for going on 11 years now. I attended All Tied Up SD’s Getting Started Class today, and I cannot recommend this enough!! I wish I could go back to 2013 me and let her attend this class instead of having to learn these lessons from the school of hard knocks. I’m a masochist, but those painful lessons weren’t the fun kind of pain, if you know what I mean 😜

The topics that were explored included:

•kinky language

•aftercare

•drop

•safe words

•communication

The list goes on. I wish there was a way to ensure everyone entering the world of kink attended a class like this. The entire class was done in such a professional, intentional and caring way.

I am so grateful to Dan & Renee for this event and the space they have created in the kink community. What an incredibly beautiful gift they have given us by extending their knowledge and helping make the kink community a safe space. I feel great pride being able to be part of a community with leaders who care as much as Dan & Renee & their staff do.

I have referred quite a few Tops who claim to do rope bondage but have received zero education to All Tied Up, just from knowing of their reputation from what I’ve heard about them in the community. After meeting someone from AllTiedUpSD at Club X’s Xplore event, I decided to attend the Try One On event and register for the Getting Started Class. As a bottom without a current Top, I naively hadn’t considered coming to the class by myself. So grateful I came and tried it out!

Also…fun bonus…I stayed for the Lab event after the Getting Started Class, and was able to tie and be tied. I will say, as a bottom to my core, I was nervous tying someone else, but the folks there offered incredible support. I 1000% still prefer being a rope bottom, but I think it’s valuable for me to learn what goes into tying as well. 🫶🏼
